Mrs. Lay’s 2nd Grade

Dear Parents,

I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this year!  I would like to inform you of some of our classroom procedures.  Your child will have a daily folder that should be returned every morning.  I will check it daily for notes, lunch money and homework.  There will also be a weekly schedule and discipline letter.  This letter will tell you what activities we are doing in the classroom and your child’s homework assignments.  It will also tell you about your child’s behavior throughout the week.  I hope to maintain open communication with you.  I can be reached through notes, phone calls, or e-mail.  With your help, I would like to make this school year a great success!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Lay
