TIMBO SCHOOL: The Rural Special basketball games that were cancelled tonight have been rescheduled for January 28, 2023, (Saturday). The Jr. boys game will start at 10:00 a. m. and then the Sr. girls and boys games will follow. This is if the weather permits. We will update on the Thursday and Friday night games. Revised Message Timbo School Time change for game at Rural Special tomorrow night. Jr. boys game will now start at 3:30pm. Time between games and halftimes will also be shortened due to the impending weather.

Timbo School: Due to possible incoming inclement weather, the basketball games at Rural Special tomorrow night, January 24th, will start at 4pm instead of 5pm.

Timbo: Science Fair Project Help Session Thursday night, 1/19/23, from 5pm-7pm in the high school science room.

Timbo: Timbo Science Fair date is set for February 7th. Fair will be in the multipurpose room and open to the public from 5pm to 7pm.

A reminder for parents/guardians: Please make sure to bring parent and doctor notes to school upon students returning after being absent. You have five school days to get these to school after the absence occurs. We cannot take these notes after five days. See the student handbook page 26. We are mandated by state law to turn in to the courts students who have seven unexcused absences. Students will receive a letter home after the third unexcused absence and a second letter home after the sixth unexcused absence. Upon the seventh unexcused absence, the student must be turned into the court system. If you have questions, please see page 26 in the student handbook. Timbo: AWAY GAME! Come on out tomorrow night (1/10) and cheer on our Tigers to victory as we take on Calico Rock!!! Game time 5:00 pm. The JG will tip things off!!!

Map testing will be next week, January 10-13, for grades K-10. Students who show improvement in BOTH math and reading will receive an Incentive Day on Monday, February 13, 2023. Students must show improvement from the fall 2022 Map test in BOTH areas to receive the Incentive Day. Parents, please encourage students to do their very best. Students, please do your best in order to receive the Incentive Day.

Timbo: Seth and Aleah competed as individuals in the Special Olympics State Bowling Competition on Thursday. Aleah came home with a 6th place finish in her division and Seth came home with a 4th place finish in his. The people in the photo with Seth are representatives of the Marines, LRPD, and Pulaski County Sheriff’s office. They presented the medals to the kids. We are so proud of you both!

Timbo: Please remember our Christmas program tomorrow afternoon!! Mr. Currie has been working extra hard preparing our students and they are so excited!!!! Timbo: Thank you to all our kiddos who donated during our Elementary Penny Drive. We were able to purchase three brand new TVs for residents at The Waters Nursing Home in Mountain View. We hope this makes their Christmas extra special!!! Thanks Kids!!! #caring
